The bookcase contains 5 storage cabinets, each fronted with a matching door adorned with large antiqued hinges. The upper portion of the cabinet contains a large center storage area containing two non adjustable shelves, covered with two doors and a smaller storage area, containing two non adjustable shelves, covered with one door, on each side. The lower storage area contains two long storage areas, each containing two non adjustable shelves and covered by two doors. Antiqued escutcheons adorn some of the cabinets. The finish of the bookcase is a deep battleship gray with slight intentional distressing, giving it an aged, characterful appearance.
