Estate Sale

The Perfect Thing, Inc. not only specializes in selling individual items but also offers services to liquidate the entire contents of an estate. If you should find you are in the need of such services, please contact either Judith or Kate at the store to arrange a consultation.

To determine the need for an estate sale, we will arrange a complimentary consultation on site.  This appointment will include determination of the need of items to be liquidated, as well as the best and most efficient method of doing so. Our estate sale staff is well versed in professional display and sales methods to achieve optimal results in the shortest amount of time. A typical set-up takes 1 week and a sale lasts 2-3 days, but exceptions will be made in extreme circumstances. We offer extensive advertising, utilizing web-based programs,  a compiled list of clientele, in-store advertising, and print advertising (if deemed appropriate).
The Perfect Thing, Inc. includes among it’s basic services:
  • Crowd/Sales control
  • Arrangement and overseeing of item pick up and removal
  • Total clean-outs including charitable donations at an extra charge 

All areas used during the sale are cleared and broom swept upon completion.

Fees for estate liquidations are based upon commission and written into the contract. Accurate accounting of all sales proceeds and payouts will be delivered promptly within 30 days of sales end.

If your location does not allow for an on-site sale, The Perfect Thing, Inc. is also able to conduct sales at the store location. This will be done ONLY in extreme circumstances.
