Thomasville Georgian dome topped secretary desk. This beautiful oak wood desk features a dome topped cabinet with a glass front. Inside the cabinet sits two adjustable glass shelves, and a light that turns on with a button in the lower lefthand corner. The door to the cabinet has a beautiful pane design that starts straight and bends to match the curves of the dome top. The base features five drawers that are accented with beautifully designed brass handles and keyholes. Atop the drawers is the desk portion of this piece that opens outwards and rests on two small supports that retract in and out. The desk opens with a faux key pull to reveal seven small storage compartments, two of which have drawers. A beautiful and functional piece that displays both class and craftsmanship.
