Thomas deDecker floral oil on canvas painting. Signed lower left. This beautiful painting depicts a meadow of wildflowers at sunset. A grassy patch lines the front of the piece and is speckled with flowers in many colors.  A small footpath splits up the scene. Buried in the patch are a handful of barren branches. The sky shifts from lavender to yellow as it reaches the sun. Many birds sit on the branches and dapple the sky. The piece is held in a gilt frame with an oatmeal colored mat and white inner border. A beautiful piece with a serene yet vibrant appeal.
