Signed Persian rug. This stunning multicolor hand knotted rug with a primarily red palette has a beautifully intricate design. The center of the rug has a rounded diamond shaped medallion that is surrounded by curvilinear floral forms. The center of the rug is surrounded by a dark border with light edges. The border has a repeating leaf-like motif in alternating colors. One short end of the rug has the word "Mashhad" (or a similar variation) in Persian script woven in. A beautiful rug filled with detail that is sure to elevate a space.
