Seiko moon phase chronograph from 1987. Marked 7A48-7009. This beautiful multicolored watch features a stainless steel band with gold colored accents. The watch has a gold colored bezel and stainless steel water resistant case. This watch includes five different white dials, each with a different practical function. The main dial (the entire face of the watch) is a classic clock with a roman numeral analog display. The sub-dial at the top (12 o'clock) has two functions - the dial displays the moon phase, and the numbers surrounding the dial display the date. The sub-dial on the left (9 o'clock) is a chronograph minute counter that can record up to thirty minutes of elapsed time. The sub-dial on the right (3 o'clock) is a 1/10th of a second counter that measures the fractions of a second when the stopwatch is running. And finally, the sub-dial on the bottom (6 o'clock) is a chronograph hour counter that can record up to twelve hours of elapsed time. The piece utilizes quartz movement. The watch is fastened with a folding clasp that has the Seiko logo and name on it. A beautiful vintage watch that is dripping with functionality and class.
