A journey inspired by painter Edvard Munch's quote, 'Nature is not only all that is visible to the eye . . . it also includes the inner pictures of the soul.'

This striking abstract piece was created with ink and gold dust. Sullivan says "This painting was done by pouring & dripping inks and moving them only with the edge of a palette knife and then scattering gold dust. I was exploring how our perceptions shift, playing with figure and ground, exploring dualities of light and dark, surface/subliminal, commonplace/mysterious." The piece is set with a white mat and held in a deep, dark brown frame with an inner gold border. A beautiful, bold work of art perfect for a gallery wall or as a standalone piece.
