Mark Hopkins "Dominance" Lion Bronze, 686/750 (0JL009)

Incredibly detailed, patinaed-bronze lion bust titled "Dominance" by artist Mark Hopkins. The bust features an incredibly expressive face with doleful eyes and mouth agape to reveal the lion's pointed teeth. An opening is present at the lion's mouth to allow light to flow through the center of the statue. The bust exhibit's Hopkin's ability to capture motion and emotion in his art as the lion's face is framed by a flowing mane that makes the statue feel full of life. The statue is solid bronze and a beautiful accent piece for any art lover. The bust is signed "Mark Hopkins" and dated  © 1994 as well as numbered 686/750 on the back of the bust.
