LK Walles (born 1946, French) canal scene. Signed lower right. This gorgeous impressionist oil on canvas painting depicts a canal on a cool day. Two boats sit towards the front of the scene, parked next to a sidewalk. An arched bridge and a series of buildings line the background, and a cloudy gray sky backs the scene. The piece is held in gilt frame with a camel fabric trim. A serene scene perfect for a moody touch to a space.
