Jean Drury (1942-2023) was a mixed media artist from DuPage County. She practiced a variety of styles from impressionist to surrealist, with an admiration for marine life in particular. Jean created a diverse set of art with varying styles and subjects over her career and was an active member of the DuPage Art League.

The artwork displays impressionistic depictions of pears on a dark background. The piece also features gold outlines on the fruits.
