Jean Drury (1942-2023) was a mixed media artist from DuPage County. She practiced a variety of styles from impressionist to surrealist, with an admiration for marine life in particular. Jean created a diverse set of art with varying styles and subjects over her career and was an active member of the DuPage Art League.
This monotype multimedia work features a string of punched "pearls" wrapping around a female figure. Small ripped segments of paper are also placed around the piece to vary the background.
