Jean Drury (1942-2023) was a mixed media artist from DuPage County. She practiced a variety of styles from impressionist to surrealist, with an admiration for marine life in particular. Jean created a diverse set of art with varying styles and subjects over her career and was an active member of the DuPage Art League.

This piece employs dried leaves and plants to create the visual of a flower field under a bright sky. Many darker lines cross the canvas, sectioning off the piece.
