Antique hand-painted porcelain miniature. This beautiful porcelain portrait is done after Elisabeth Vigee Le Brun, known for her self portraits and portraits of Marie Antionette that were often replicated by other artists. This portrait in particular depicts a young woman wearing a white hat and a collared blue top. She sits with her head tilted and a slight smile on her face. The small oval porcelain portrait is held in two gilt frames. The first is a matching oval shape with a green velvet backing and ribbon detail on its top. The other is a much larger shadow box with a black backing and repeating grid-like pattern on its frame. This gorgeous portrait is sure to elevate any space with its classic style and antique charm.
