Michael Godard Framed Print, "Catch the Cork" (0JE001)

Michael Godard framed print "Catch the Cork". Signed lower right. This charming print at a first glance just looks like a wine glass and bottle, but a closer look will reveal mischievous grapes animating the scene. The grapes have arms and legs which they use for all sorts of shenanigans. Five grapes on the right side of the wine glass and bottle are holding a corkscrew, and one on the other side is holding a grape vine that has been turned into a lasso. The lasso wielding grape is aiming for a running cork with legs. The piece is held in a slope up style frame in black with silver accents and a black fabric trim. This print is the perfect way to add a playful note to a space while still having a sophisticated touch.
