Georgine Campbell portrait of a woman. Signed in the lower left (very dark in the photo). This original oil painting pictures a young girl wearing a light blue lace-trimmed dress and a straw hat decorated with blue ribbon. The girl is painted with a slight smile on her face. The piece is enrobed in a fragile, ornate carved frame that is painted tan. The artist Georgine Campbell has two portraits on display at the Smithsonian Museum. This beautiful portrait exudes youth and innocence and is a classy addition to a room.
