George Malva (1951-2015) oil on canvas sea scene. Signed lower right. This beautiful piece depicts a group of well-dressed individuals on a beach. The people are mainly grouped in the center of the piece, some of which are sitting, some holding parasols, and others simply standing. Closer to the coast sits two tall white beach tends that sit with French flags flying behind them. The impressionist style of this piece gives it an alluring feel that asks the viewer to look closer. The piece is held in a gilt ornate carved frame with a black center band. A beautiful piece that's sure to add a subtle nautical touch to any space.
