Geese oil on board painting attributed to Constant (David) Artz. Constant Artz was a Dutch painter who specialized in impressionist scenes. He was most notably known for his beautiful waterscapes. This large oil painting on board of geese by a pond is a stunning attribution to those scenes. One goose and its three babies are sitting on the pond, and the other geese stand just to the edge along with swans that line the back. A flourishing cluster of flowers accents the lower right corner of the scene and branches reach down from the upper left. The piece is held in a rustic, dark-toned wooden frame. This gorgeous painting is full of life and charm, certain to brighten up any space with its gentle impressionist style.
