French Louis XV pedestal with ormolu and marble insert. This gorgeous round pedestal features a beautiful medium-toned wooden frame and a green marble insert top. The pedestal sits on three slender cabriole legs connected with a Y-stretcher that has an ormolu finial in its center. The apron of the pedestal and the legs are also accentuated with ornate ormolu. The marble top is accentuated with a beaded detail around its outer edge. A beautiful French piece that would look stunning as an ornate plant stand, or to display prized possessions.
