DeBrekht hand carved and painted Santa. Signed on the bottom. This stunning hand-carved wooden Santa is full of intricate hand-painted designs. Santa is holding a clock with an owl sitting atop it. In his other hand is a blue, swirl patterned staff with a lantern at its top. Santa is wearing a red hat and mittens with a blue floral design sprinkled with glittering gold accents. His robes are covered with stunning details. The front of the robe features a scene from The Nutcracker where Clara and her brother are opening their gifts by the tree. The nutcracker has been opened and rests on the decorated tree. The back of Santa's robe has a winter scene with a castle and house on the lower edge. Above the scene is a dark blue background with beautiful swirling designs in a lighter blue and gold. Santa's shoulders are covered with a painted feather-like design with a repeating abstract pattern on the lower edge, and his collar has swirling details similar to that of the ones in Starry Night. A beautiful Christmas decor piece that is sure to elevate any home with its intricate designs and hand-crafted qualities.
