Dana Gibson is an artist and designer out of Richmond, Virginia. Her art focusses on lighter tones and more airy aesthetics, meant to bring vibrant openness to spaces. Her artwork also plays with color, going for vibrance and interest over realism. 

This giclee titled "Petit Malmaision" has a notably playful style, using a pastel watercolor style to loosely outline a 2 story home, while the more stated lines play with the form even more. The shape meanders and angles softly outside the confines of what is considered the norm for a depiction of a home. The coloration and the confines barely cohabitate, instead wandering between one another, adding to the sense of ease and etherealness.
