Chinese Carved Camphor Chest/Trunk (0NW00L)

Chinese carved camphor chest or trunk. This gorgeous chest is constructed from camphor wood, which is adorned with intricate carved details on all sides. The front of the chest depicts a battle scene with many warriors on horses surrounded by botanical motifs. The borders of the sides and top of the chest feature dragon designs on a scroll-like background. The chest latches closed with a small brass catch plate that does not have a pin lock. The catch plate is similarly adorned with stunning details, primarily including birds and geometrics. The interior of the chest is one large open compartment. The chest sits on carved bracket feet that have a feather-like design. A striking chest perfect to add a classy touch of Chinese style to a living room or bedroom.
