Carl Forslund "Rip Van Lee" vintage tufted chair and ottoman from the 1980s. This stunning chair and ottoman set was crafted in 1987 by master upholsterer George Bonner, as labeled on the bottom. Both the chair and ottoman are upholstered with a beautiful, smooth, oxblood red leather with deep tufting. It has distinctive hand-carved details on the arms and cabriole legs that have brass nailhead accents. The chair has a deep seat, perfect for lounging, especially when paired with the ottoman as a foot rest! A gorgeous set perfect to bring quiet luxury and comfort to an office or den.
