Caritas by Tina Schrementi. Signed lower right and en verso. This original mixed-media piece is titled "Caritas" which translates to Charity. The piece depicts a man wearing a large sombrero and traditional Mexican Charro-style clothes. The piece has an overall impressionist style with mixed-media details including a gum wrapper chain on the edge of the hat, collage-style leaves and butterflies, painted flowers in pink and blue, and a small figure in yellow lower right. The bold and vibrant colors of the man contrast the pastel background beautifully. This gorgeous work of art is sure to create a striking focal point in any room.
