Antique 18th century coffer with metal adornment. This stunning coffer is rectangular in shape and sits on large bun feet. The piece is crafted from a beautiful medium-toned wood full of aged details that showcase the coffer's antiquity. The piece is further accented with metal details on the corners, handles and latch. the corners have a slight scalloped edge and intricate scrolled details across their surface. The handles have similar scrolled designs on a quatrefoil backplate. The handles are held to the backplate by small hands. The latch has a gorgeous intricate scrolled design and holds a large lock (key included). This beautiful coffer is a perfect antique addition to a space that can be used as a storage chest or center table.
