This piece features a desert under a blue sky with clouds. Also in the sky is surreal clock that is breaking as it goes towards the sky. On the ground there are five figures waving to the clock. On the horizon a row of trees disconnects from the rocky mountain beneath. 

Salvador Dalí was an icon of Surrealism, the 20th-century avant-garde movement that sought to release unconscious creative potential through art that featured dreamlike imagery.
