Embroidered silk 1893 World's Fair. Marked J. J. Jordan lower right, and Johnson Cowdin Co. lower left. This unique piece is a commemorative silk ribbon from the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. The piece includes a black and white aerial view of the location, an American flag, colorful florals, a bust portrait of Christopher Columbus, and other American cultural figures. The piece is matted in beige and set in a wood frame with carved details. A beautiful piece of American history that's sure to elevate a space.
