Vintage (1950s-60s) Bakhtiari garden rug. This stunning hand knotted wool rug is covered with beautifully intricate details from end to end. The rug is colored with natural dyes, most prominently featuring reds and blues with pops of cream, pink and green. The central portion of the rug has a grid design with many different patterns. Each square features a floral and geometric design, and the squares are arranged in a larger overall design. The outer edge of the rug features a series of borders with two red and blue stripes on the inner and outer side, and the central thicker border in cream has arabesque and floral details. The short ends of the rug are accented with a short fringe. This beautiful rug is a gorgeous addition to any space with its eye catching details and rich color palette.
