The Perfect Thing, Inc., located at 161 Town Square, Wheaton is a luxury consignment boutique. All consignments are done on a contract basis; 90-days, 50/50 split upon sale. The Perfect Thing, Inc. reserves the right to price all items it accepts into the shop. All items accepted into the store are appraised and priced to suit the current market place. Absolutely no pricing will be given out prior to the acceptance of the items and their arrival in the store. Please reference our acceptance terms and list of items we do not consign, below. If you are interested in consigning, please take a digital photo of the item and send it to us at kate@theperfectthing.net.

At The Perfect Thing, Inc., consignors are our partners. We will make sure that you understand our terms, we will price items honestly, and pay you at the appointed time. We have built our business on integrity and lasting relationships with our customers and consignors.

ALL items must be vacuumed, wiped down and cleaned of personal property before being delivered to the shop. Additional fees will apply should cleaning be required.
Items we DO NOT accept:
Mattresses
Electronics
Chandeliers and Wired Ceiling and Wall Fixtures
Linens and Window Treatments
Clothing
Stained, faded or torn upholstery
Furniture in need of refinishing
Television Armoires
Beer Steins and everyday glassware and kitchenware
Silver-plate
Costume Jewelry, unless luxury designer (ie: Chanel, Gucci, ect)
Items from smoking households

Moving Company:
The consignor is ultimately responsible for delivery or pickup, but we do have a list of referrals that we can recommend for moving needs. Delivery fees depend on where you live, and how many items you are bringing. Please contact the store for more information.
