"Flashdance for Jackson" acrylic on canvas by Clarence Measelle. Image features Pollock style splatter paint with a distorted image of a female nude near center of canvas. Dated 1984. Signed "Measelle" in lower right and signed on back. Painting is "dedicated to the spirit of Jackson Pollock." Artist has titled and dated painting on back. Artist has written out a Pollock quote on the back. Wood floating frame. Artist's education, exhibitions and selected publication listing up to 1985 included.
Measelle is a South Florida based artist with his own studio. He has completed over 600 works of art and has been in over 100 exhibitions. His work is in public and private collections.
