Pair of Bronze Louis Chenets

Pair of Louis style chenets in bronze. Design features a sloping design, similar to a staircase, with garland leading down to a pedestal holding a burning fire.

Traditionally, a pair of chenets was placed outside of the fireplace to protect flooring from rolling logs. Similar to Andirons, but do not have the back bracket or log holder.
