Satsuma Double Gourd Lamp (WHYUSB)

Beautifully detailed painted lamp from the Satsuma region of Japan. The base of the lamp features a double gourd style with detailed painted designs in gold, pink, red, and green tones. Designs include a man standing proudly in a robe, trees, botanicals, and geometric patterns. The top of the lamp base features wood carved with gracefully protruding flowers. Sits atop a carved, wooden stand with elaborate flower carvings. Wooden accents are a deep, espresso brown color. Topped with a simplistic white lamp shade and a petite brass finial.
