Geometric details play upon the contrast of curving and straight figures. Signature is contained in the bottom right corner of the print. Framed in a thin, glossy, black frame with white matting. Artwork is signed across the bottom- 89/90 "Camouflaged Reflection" W-249

 

The artistic career of Akira Kurosaki began in the 1960s and 1970s. His style from that period was a kind of mixture of semi-abstract and surreal - typical for the post-war period. Works by the artist are in renowned international museums like the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo, Royal Gallery of Paintings, Netherlands.
